About Finpact

A financial marketing firm, by design.

Built from the ground up for financial services. Run by people who've spent their careers in both finance and marketing, and understand why that combination matters.

How We Got Here

Built in response to a pattern.

Finpact was founded on a simple observation: marketing a financial firm is genuinely different from marketing anything else.

The firm was started by a team that came at the problem from both sides. One founder brought years of sales and strategy experience at a major North American asset manager, along with the CFA charterholder credential. The other brought a career of building marketing programs that perform. The combination isn't coincidental. It's the point.

Marketing in financial services requires fluency in two languages: what the firm does, and how to tell its story. Finpact holds both. The firms we work with have proven it's a combination worth hiring for.

The Unique Combination

Two disciplines, one firm.

Finpact brings together finance and marketing expertise as a single discipline.

Devon Krogh, Co-Founder and CEO of Finpact Media

Devon Krogh, CFA

Co-Founder, CEO

The Finance Side: Fluent in how capital moves.

Devon spent the early part of his career inside multiple major North American asset managers, working in sales and strategy alongside the advisors and institutions the firm was trying to reach.

He's a CFA charterholder, which means he reads a fund prospectus the way a marketer reads a brief. That background shapes how the finance side of Finpact operates: an understanding of how investment committees make decisions, how advisors think about product, how regulators interpret marketing materials, and how firms actually generate assets.

Devon leads the work that comes from that depth: ad copy that won't get rewritten in compliance review, content that sounds like it was written by someone actually inside the industry, and strategic positioning that reflects how investment decisions actually get made.

Before finance, he played professional hockey. The work ethic carried over.

Shay Babaki, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Strategist of Finpact Media

Shay Babaki

Co-Founder, Chief Marketing Strategist

The Marketing Side: Built to drive real outcomes.

Shay has spent close to a decade building marketing programs that perform: lead generation, SEO, paid media, conversion-focused web development. The thread through every engagement is campaigns measured in pipeline, not impressions.

She's worked across the full funnel and built programs from the ground up: clear targets, precise measurement, and a hard-earned sense for where marketing budgets get wasted.

At Finpact, Shay leads the marketing side: the strategy that sets direction, the execution that gets the work shipped, and the results that justify the spend. She's the standard-bearer for what 'a campaign that worked' actually means at the firm.

Outside the firm, she's usually somewhere with mountains. Skiing in winter, camping in summer.

Most financial marketing agencies have one side. Finpact has both.

Our Philosophy

What we believe.

  1. 01

    Finance isn't a vertical. It's a language.

Years of writing for asset managers, building sites for advisors and lenders, and positioning funds taught us the vocabulary that makes capital move. That fluency shows up in every word we write for you.

  2. 02

Compliance is a creative constraint, not a ceiling.

The rules don't limit what great marketing looks like in financial services. They define it. We treat regulatory requirements the way designers treat a grid: as structure that sharpens the work. Not safer. Better.

  3. 03

Data tells you what happened. Experience tells you what to do next.

Every campaign is measured. Every page is tracked. But numbers alone don't build a brand or write a headline. Interpreting data and acting on it with creative judgment is what separates marketing that performs from marketing that's merely reported on.

Who We Work With

Built for financial firms.

Finpact serves six core audiences across the financial services industry. Each has its own regulatory context, its own buyer, and its own marketing challenges. We know them well.

  • Asset Managers & Fund Companies

Firms marketing investment products. Positioning that reaches advisors and allocators with the capital.

  • Banks & Credit Unions

Institutions with local presence and regulated offerings. Digital marketing that grows deposits and loan volume.

  • Wealth Managers & Independent Advisors

Firms advising individuals and families. Marketing that builds trust and attracts the right clients.

  • Private Equity & Venture Capital

Firms raising capital and backing companies with conviction. Marketing that sharpens the thesis and earns the LP trust that compounds across funds.

  • Insurance Carriers & Brokerages

Firms across P&C, commercial, and life. Marketing that drives qualified leads and builds lasting client relationships.

  • Mortgage Brokers & Lenders

Firms competing for borrowers in a rate-sensitive market. Local and digital marketing that builds the broker network and referral momentum that lasts.

How We Work

The partnership, defined.

Three commitments we make to every client we work with. These aren't process steps. They're how we think about the partnership.

  1. 01

    Partners, not vendors.

Finpact takes ownership of outcomes. That means long-term relationships, strategic thinking on every engagement, and a team that sits beside you as the firm grows.

  2. 02

    Compliance-ready from day one.

Every deliverable is built to meet compliance standards before it's sent for review. We anticipate the questions your compliance team will ask rather than waiting to hear them. The result is less rework and faster go-to-market.

  3. 03

    Transparency, always.

Performance is measured and tracked closely. We share the numbers, the analysis, and what we'd consider changing. Whether we're driving strategy or executing on your direction, the rigor stays the same.
